Chapter 6
Agent settings
· Published by Osentio
The Agent Settings tab is where you change the agent's name, language, appearance, greeting and model. Changes take effect only after you click Save Changes at the top right.

| No. | Field | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Agent Name | The name shown in the title of the chat window. |
| 2 | Language | The language of the chat window's own texts: English or Traditional Chinese. An agent created from the English interface starts in English. |
| 3 | Primary Color | The main color of the chat window. On the right you can also use it for the header and set the background color of the chat bubble button. |
| 4 | Agent Description | A short note for your team, shown on the agent's card on the dashboard. |
| 5 | Save Changes | Can be clicked only when something has changed. |
Greeting, custom questions and allowed hostnames

- Greeting Words: the first sentence customers see when they open the chat window. It cannot be empty.
- Custom Questions: quick-question buttons shown in the chat window; customers click one to ask. Turn the switch on and click the pencil to edit them (up to 5 by default).
- Allowed Hostnames: when on, only the domains you list can embed this agent, so other sites cannot reuse it.
- System Prompt: the instructions that define the agent's role, tone and scope.
- AI Models: choose an OpenAI or Google model. Click View All Models for the full list.
Danger zone

CautionDelete all conversations removes every chat log of this agent, and Delete agent removes the agent with all of its data. Neither can be undone. Export anything you want to keep first (see chapter 11).
